North American University Groups visit Cork this Summer
North American University groups continue to visit Cork and the University for long periods to continue their Irish related studies and spend time in the area. This year, we welcome the return of Texas State University, James Madison University, The Irish Experiece University of St. Thomas, University of Wisconsin, North Carolina University, The University of Georgia and Michigan State University study abroad programmes. For the first time, we welcome Duquesne University, University of Central Arkansas and The University of Central Florida to the city and wish them great time in both UCC Campus Accommodation and Cork City.

English as a foreign language
Every year, thousands of Italian and Spanish students come to Ireland to improve their English and experience what live and culture is like in our country. In conjunction with ATC Language & Travel, Cork Language Centre, Moving On and In English!, UCC Campus Accommodation is delighted to be involved in their stay in Cork City. During their stay, the students attend English classes, some in the University and some at private classes organized by their tour operator. Many attend sports activities at the Mardyke Arena, travel around the country on day trips and interact socially with each other at events such as Ceilis, quizzes and movie nights.
